Minton 7" Arts & Crafts Tile Design by Christopher Dresser Neo-Classical Frieze

Superb 7" border tile by Mintons China Works, Stoke on Trent.
The tile is made after a design attributed to Dr Christopher Dresser.

Type: Dust pressed and glazed, edge or border tile.

Glazed and block printed with neo-classical elements and with makers marks to the verso.

Acanthus frieze in Greek Revival style with a serrated border above.
Beautiful colour-way of white, black and orange.

In near-perfect condition.

Rare tile to be found in 7".
