Original Antique Glazed Encaustic Maw & Co Benthall Works C1875

This super floral design tile is for sale on an uncommon type of glazed encaustic.
Lovely and bright earth-tone colours are all in the clay.
Glazed encaustic tiles were used for floors to provide an easy clean surface.
The tile is in excellent condition; there are a couple of nibbles around the age.
This tile will be an excellent addition to any tile collector.

It measures about 6" x 6" x 2cm in thickness.
