The tile is part of my collection, and only one is available.
Here, we have a pair of antique hand-painted tile panels depicting two minstrels.These panels may be attributed to E.W. Godwin, but I am unsure.We have found one other in the same design of minstrels sold at Woolley & Wallis.They used three blanks from Mintons China Works and one blank from The Campbell Brook & Tile Co.
The tiles are in good condition for their age, with some chips around the edges and surface marks.
Each tile measures 8" x 8".Each panel measures 16" x 8".
