Pair of Art Nouveau 8" Fireplace Tiles Floral Majolica by Josiah Wedgwood C1880

These are some of the most beautiful relief moulded majolica tiles I've seen in recent years, fantastic floral design. Made by Josiah Wedgwood around 1880.
It was impossible for me to find another example like thess.

They are in very good condition for their age, with small chips on the edges and surface marks.
Each tile measures 8" x 8" square.

The tiles come from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and have the numbers G.225 and G.226. If you want to know more about thess tiles you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference numbers, and they can offer more information about them.
