Description

Panel of 5 Antique Fireplace Red Tiles Majolica Vine Grapes John Barratt C1905

This is a beautiful and scarce panel of five embossed majolica tiles with a unique design depicting vine grapes on a dark red background, made by John Barratt around 1905.

They are in good condition for their age, with small chips around the edges and surface marks.

Each tile measures 6" x 6" square.

They come in the original condition as found and sold as seen.

These types of tiles besides their value as rare collectible items, they are also viable to be used for architecture like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as an replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hanged on a wall for decoration.
