Rare 8" Tile by Brown Westhead Moore & Co, Designed by William Stephen Coleman

This is a gorgeous and rare hand-painted tile depicting a bird standing on a branch, designed by William Stephen Coleman for Brown Westhead Moore & Co. around 1870.
It is in near-perfect condition, with tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.

It measures 8" x 8" square

The tile comes from the Roger Hensman Tile Collection, and has the number G.219. If you want to know more about this tile you can contact TACS (Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society), give them the reference number, and they can offer more information about it.
