For sale is this lovely set of two exceptionally well hand-painted tiles C1880.
These are hand-painted after an illustration from Lara's book, A Tale by Lord Byron: illustrated by C.B. Birch, C1778.
We couldn't identify another set like these anywhere.
We believe that Doulton painters painted these, but there aren't signatures on them.

Measures 8" (20.5cm) approx. each. These are in excellent condition with just a few nibbles.
These extremely rare tiles to find from the Minton period are in beautiful condition and well presented.
It will look fantastic framed or on any tilling project.
I'm sure it will have great appeal to all collectors.
