The tile is part of my collection, and only one is available.
This is a fantastic embossed majolica tile featuring a very unique floral design in a single-colour green glaze, made by Henry Richards around 1905.
It is in good condition, with tiny chips around the edges, crazing in the glaze and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
These tiles, besides their value as rare collectable items, are also viable for use in architecture, such as the restoration of an old fireplace, as a replacement for a wall tile, or simply framed and hung on a wall for decoration.
