The tile is part of my collection, and only one is available.
This is a beautiful embossed majolica tile with a floral design on a green background made by T & R Boote Ltd around 1900.
The tile is in very good condition for its age, with a few tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
These types of tiles, besides their value as rare collectable items, are also viable to be used for architecture, like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as a replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hung on a wall for decoration.
