Good antique condition overall. A large part of a corner broken, crazing in the glaze, and surface marks consistent with age.

This is an extremely rare and finely crafted tile with a strong decorative presence. Tiles of this quality were originally intended for fireplace surrounds or architectural schemes and are now highly sought after by collectors and for wall display.
These tiles have been removed from an old fireplace in situ at the old Averard hotel, built in 1856, 10-11 Lancaster Gate, London. W2.
