Reclaimed Victorian 8" Persian Style Tile Maw & Co C1870 AE6
This is a stunning Victorian hand-painted tile with an amazing Persian-style design, with colours like different types of blue, and was made by Maw & Co.
These tiles have been removed from an old fireplace in situ at the old Averard hotel, built in 1856, 10-11 Lancaster Gate, London. W2.
The tile has crazing in the glaze, stains and surface marks.
It measures 8" x 8" (20cm x 20cm) square.
