Scarce Art Nouveau Fireplace Tile Blue Floral Design T & R Boote Ltd C1900
This is a stunning and rare moulded majolica tile featuring a great floral design with a large blue flower in the middle surrounded by other smaller brown ones on a cream background, made by T & R Boote Ltd around 1900.
It is in good condition for its age with crazing in the glaze, chips around the edges and surface marks.
It measures 6" x 6" square.
It comes in the original condition as found and sold as seen.
These types of tiles besides their value as rare collectible items, they are also viable to be used for architecture like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as an replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hanged on a wall for decoration.
