Scarce Profile Portrait Majolica Tile Design Isaac Broome for W. Wade C1890 AE1

This is a rare and very well-made Relief Moulded Majolica tile with a Profile Portrait design depicting a man. It has one of the most unusual colours, a brownish purple that is very rarely used for tiles.
This tile's design is attributed to Isaac Broome, who originally worked for The Trenton Art Tile Co, an American tile company. Still, he has also made these tiles for the English company J & W Wade, which are also of higher quality. They were made around 1890.

There are more examples in different colours, but this one is rare.

The tile is in very good condition but it has a chip in a corner.

It measures 6" x 6" square.
