The tile is part of my collection, and there is only one available.
This is a very beautiful and rare embossed majolica tile with a unique floral design I've not often seen on a dark blue background, made by Mintons China Works around 1890.
It is in good condition for its age, with tiny chips around the edges and surface marks.
The tile measures 6" x 6" square.
It comes in the original condition as found and sold as seen.
These types of tiles, besides their value as rare collectable items, are also viable to be used for architecture, like restoration of an old fireplace, placed as a replacement for a tile from the wall, or just framed and hung on a wall for decoration.
