Antique Sterling Silver & Cut Glass Biscuit Barrel Stuart Clifford & Co London

This is a cut glass biscuit barrel (cookie jar) with a sterling silver mount and lid.
The biscuit barrel has decorative panels alternating between a fine-cut diamond pattern and a star-cut base.
The silver mount, lid and toggle handle are all hallmarked by Stuart Clifford & Co. London in 1912.
The overall design is elegant and charming.

It measures about 17.5cm x 13.5cm in diameter.
