Victorian Sterling Silver & Cut Glass Vanity Box by Frances Douglas London 1844

This antique early Victorian sterling silver and cut glass toilet jar is exquisitely designed with a perforated pattern.
It was engraved and hallmarked in London in 1844 by Frances Douglas.
The stunning piece is perfect as a gift or an addition to any collection.

It measures about 3.6cm H x 8cm W x 5.7cm D.

Total Weight: 185 grams and 39 grams in silver.

It is in excellent condition for its age, with two minor dents on the silver cover.
It will need a good polishing. It comes in the original conditions as found.
