Antique Patinated Brass Horse Hoof Match Safe Vesta Case Box
This rare brass and black enamel vesta case, depicting a horse's hoof complete with fur and shoe, dates from the Victorian era.It was designed to keep matches dry inside and utilized the underside of the hoof for striking.
