A commemorative vesta case issued for Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee of 1887.

The front is decorated with a central profile of Queen Victoria within a circular medallion, flanked by banners reading “Jubilee Box” and dated 1837–1887. The reverse is marked “Perry & Co Ltd Steel Pen Makers” with their trade mark.

The base features a ribbed striker, and the hinged cover opens to the interior compartment for matches.

Condition
In good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and usage.

Surface wear, light scratches, and areas of tarnish present. Minor edge wear and marks to the striker. The hinge functions correctly.
