The top features a coin slot and a hinged lid for access. The band beneath the lid is carved with the initials “S C”, likely original to the piece as a personal mark or gift inscription.

The construction and decoration reflect traditional Northern European treen work.

Condition
In good antique condition for its age, with visible signs of use. There is surface wear, rubbing, and age-related marks throughout. Minor wear around the coin slot and edges. The hinge is present and functional. The carved decoration shows some softening from handling. Sold as seen.
