Antique Sterling Silver Pill Patch Box with Miniature Portrait C1820

This round sterling silver pill box features a hand-painted portrait of a lady on the lid.
The interior is gold-washed, and the silver is in excellent condition with a very special design.
This box has no marks, but it was acid-tested for silver.
It is believed to be from the Georgian period C1820s, as the work on it is of fantastic quality.
This is a little treasure that is unique and will complement any collection.
It measures about 2cm x 3.9cm in diameter.

It is in excellent condition for its age.
