Rare Victorian 10ct Gold Sampson Mordan Propelling Pencil C1885

An excellent quality, extremely rare to find Victorian 10ct gold propelling pencil believed to be model 75.
Stamped S Mordan & Co and the distinctive 'Mordan arrow mark' indicate 10ct gold.
This mark was a marketing feature so that Mordan & Co could set themselves above the competition by claiming in their advertising: "Mordan Pencils made of superior gold".

Sampson Mordan & Co, c1885 made it.
