Sampson Mordan Sterling Silver Owl Desk Seal Chester 1906

This is a novelty seal made of solid silver with glass eyes shaped like an Owl by Sampson Mordan & Co.
It is hallmarked for Chester 1906 and has Rd—no 472571.
The stamp is free of engraving.

Maker: Sampson Mordan

Hallmarks: Chester mark, letter "F"-1906

It measures about 3.3cm H x 1.7cm, and the seal is in diameter.

It is in good condition for its age, but one ear is slightly bent.
It will need a good cleaning.

It comes in the original conditions as found and sold as seen.
