Solid Silver Vesta Case Match Safe Thistle Design by Hukin & Heath London 1908

This is a rare early Edwardian silver matchbox cover. It features a plain rectangular design with bows.
The cover is adorned with a decorative border of thistle flowers and has engraved initials in the centre.

Maker: Hukin & Heath (John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton)

Hallmarks: London mark, letter "n"-1908

It measures about 5cm x 3.3cm.

Total Weight: 31.61 grams

It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and usage (with minor visible dents and scratches).
