Victorian Sterling Silver Sugar Sifter Pot by White & Johnstone Sheffield 1860
A Victorian sterling silver sugar sifter pot with a removable pierced top above a rounded body, standing on a circular stepped foot. The body and cover are decorated with floral designs. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1860 and bearing the maker's mark of White & Johnstone. It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and use including minor dents, scratches and surface wear. There is a small hole drilled into the underside of the base, however the base is double-skinned and the hole does not pass through into the interior. It will need a good cleaning.
