Antique Silver & Burra Bean/Australian Nut Vesta Case

This vesta case is made from a bean nut, adorned with a silver band and a shield.
The silver shield is engraved.
There are no hallmarks but tested as solid silver.
It opens with a hinge and also has a striking surface on the side.

It measures about 5.4cm H x 5.3cm W x 2.2cm.

Total Weight: 22.53 grams

It is in good condition, with visible signs of age and usage (with minor surface wear on the side and scratches).
The lid part of the bean has shrunk over time and is not fitting perfectly inside the rim, which is something common on these types of vesta cases.

It will need a good cleaning.
