Antique Solid Silver Combination Cheroot Holder Match Safe Vesta Case 1911
It's a cheroot case and has two places to hold matches or cigarettes by Stokes & Ireland Ltd in Chester 1911
It has a suspension ring, so it was probably hung from an Albert or Chatelaine chain.
This is a very unusual and rare item as I can't find another one.
Maker: Stokes & Ireland Ltd (William Henry Stokes & Arthur George Ireland)
Hallmarks: Chester mark, letter "L"-1911
It measures about 6.7cm H x 2.7cm and 1.4cm x 1.5 cm space for cheroot.
Total Weight: 26.62 grams
It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and usage (with some dings and scratches).
It will need a good cleaning.
