Antique Solid Silver Mechanical Propelling Pencil with Banded Agate Handle

A lovely Victorian silver thrust pencil with a rifle or pistol-shaped banded agate handle.
It has an attractive engraved scroll design on the outer case.
There are no hallmarks on it, but has been tested for sterling.

It measures about 10cm open and 7.7cm close.

It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and usage (with minor visible scratches).
It will need a good cleaning.
It comes in the original conditions as found and sold as seen.
