Antique sterling silver table match box holder by Alfred Clark of 20 Old Bond St. in London 1901.
This is an extremely rare-to-find match holder vesta case; I couldn't find another example.
Of a square shape and ample storage space, with a lovely hinge, and the striker is inside the lid.

Maker: Alfred Clark

Hallmarks: London mark, letter "f"-1901

It measures about 3cm x 5cm sq.

Total Weight: huge 145.7 grams, not including the matches.

It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and usage.
It will need a good cleaning.
It comes in the original conditions as found and sold as seen.
