An antique Victorian brass skirt lifter with shield motif and applied profile of a soldier.

This skirt lifter features a shield-shaped mount with a raised profile of a helmeted soldier. The design is framed by a beaded border, with a suspension loop above.

The form follows known “Fyfe” patent types, though this example is unmarked.
