Antique Victorian Solid Silver Propelling Pencil C1900 AE1

This is an antique solid silver pencil.
Usually, pencils from this era are only sometimes marked; these one is not, but it is acid-tested for silver.
The pencil is hexagonal and decorated with beautiful hand-cut foil patterns,
It has a simple raised stepped band at the bottom and a detachable screw taper end with foliate decoration and a carnelian seal at the end.

The pencil has a central slide strip in the middle that extends and retracts the tip.

Hallmarks: No hallmarked but tested for silver.

It measures about 9.5cm closed x 12cm fully open.
