Antique Victorian Solid Silver Propelling Pencil C1900

This is an antique solid silver pencil.
Usually, pencils from this era are only sometimes marked; these one is not, but it is acid-tested for silver.
The pencil is hexagonal and decorated with beautiful hand-cut foil patterns,
It has a simple raised stepped band at the bottom and a detachable screw taper end with foliate decoration and a possible agate seal at the end.

The pencil has a central slide strip in the middle that extends and retracts the tip.

Hallmarks: No hallmarked but tested for silver.

It measures about 9.2cm closed x 11.5cm fully open.

Total Weight: 15.7 grams

It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and usage (with small visible dents and scratches).
It will need a good cleaning.
It comes in the original conditions as found and sold as seen.
