Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Propelling Pencil C1900 AE1

This is a stunning antique sterling silver propelling pencil
The pencil doesn't present any hallmarks as this kind of pencil usually doesn't have any, but it has been acid-tested for silver.
The pencil is hexagonal and decorated with beautiful hand-cut foil patterns,
It has what seems to be an amethyst stone at the top.

The pencil has a central slide strip in the middle that extends and retracts the tip.

It measures about 9.2cm closed x 12cm fully open.
