Art Nouveau Solid Silver Articulated Grabber Tongs by W J Myatt & Co 1908

An antique Art Nouveau novelty English sterling silver articulated mechanical spring-loaded grabber tongs, likely designed for ice but suitable for serving items such as sugar cubes. The piece bears full English hallmarks for Chester from 1908 and is marked with the maker's marks of W J Myatt & Co.
