Foley Old Aynsley Wall Plate Plaque By Frederick Micklewright Loch Leven Castle

Up for sale is this very pretty wall plaque or tureen lid by Foley Old Aynsley with a lovely gold-shaped rim.

In the centre is a painted scene of Loch Leven Castle signed by the renowned porcelain artist Frederick Micklewright.

Dating from the late 19th century, c.1896.
Marked to the back, with the scene location hand written also.

It measures 30 cm x 22.5 cm.

Condition is very good no damage or restoration.

A couple of very light surface marks and a bit of rubbing to the gilding but nothing to detract from such a pretty piece.
