French Moulded Amber Resin Cameo Style Trinket Box T.P. Darbiene Paris C.1889
This is a stunning French amber trinket box featuring a beautifully carved floral design, with a silver metal plaque depicting Mary and Jesus on the top.Signed on the bottom T. P. Darbiene, Paris. Danbiere was a French artist who exhibited at the 1889 Paris Universal Exhibition.
It is in good condition, with visible signs of age and use, such as surface scratches; however, the lid has a tiny repair.
It measures approximately 7.1cm long x 5.5cm wide x 2.6cm high, including the lid.
