This is a beautiful and increasingly rare Victorian sterling silver and mother of pearl fruit knife with a shield-shape on the handle.
Maker: John Yeomans Cowlishaw, SheffieldHallmarks: Sheffield assay mark, date letter “b” — 1919
The knife is in very good antique condition for its age, with only light tarnish and gentle surface marks consistent with careful use and over a century of history. It opens and closes with a lovely snap.
