Pair Of Zambian Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Candlesticks by Klaus Rygaard
Klaus Rygaard manufactured this beautiful antique silver table candlestick between 1965-2007.
Overall, these are in excellent condition.
These are extremely rare items to find and will complement any collection.

Klaus Rygaard is a Danish Jeweller and watchmaker who emigrated to Lusaka, Zambia, in 1965. He then took over a jewellery store and later established his goldsmith with 35 employees, which became the leading jewellery company in Zambia. He produced items for Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda and made the Pro-Am golf tournament trophy. In 2007, he sold the business to Jewel of Africa, which still operates today. Klaus Rygaard returned to Denmark and now owns Klaus Rygaard Ure & Jewelry, based in Horsholm.
