Up for sale is this superbly hand crafted large serving spoon made by Magnus Aase Norway.
Very unusual and very rare pattern also unusual to be hallmarked with 925 Sterling when all M. Aase hallmarks are .800 or .830 grade.
925 sterling hallmark was introduced in 1920's in Norway so we believe this spoon is made around that year.
Of an Art Deco design we couldn't find any of this shape available for sale anywhere.
The spoon measures about 20cm long by 6.3cm by 8.5cm the bowl only.
Weighs an enormous 93 grams.
It is in very good conditions for the age. A very nice spoon to add to any silver collectors.
