Up for sale is this rare Queen Elizabeth II Fully Hallmarked Solid Silver Insignia of Europe Plaque.

Hallmarked for London 1973 and makers initials "RC" for Richard Comyns.

The silver plaque measures 33.5cm high x 21cm wide and weights about 570 grams.

The wooden frame measures 44cm x 31cm x 5cm.

Weight about 3 kg in total.

It is in very good conditions.

The plaque commemorate the British entry into the European Economic Community in January 1 1973.

Presented in an Oval shield design, made in a limited edition, this particular one is number 98 of 900.
