Solid Silver and Glass Inkwell, Birmingham 1906, J. Grinsell & Sons

Description

This heavy crystal and Sterling Silver inkwell were made by "J. G. and S"-J. Grinsell and Sons Hallmarked with a lion and a lowercase "g." for 1906 and anchor for Birmingham.

The hinged lid is tight and secures tight. There is a letter "B" monogrammed on the top. The inkwell comes in the original conditions as we found it. The glass and silver are in perfect order, with minimal damage. The lid has minor dents and a few small chips in the mirror.

It measures about 11cm high by about 10cm in diameter.

Weight 950 grams.
