Sterling Silver Capstan Inkwell William Aitken Birmingham 1910

This is an exquisite and very large and rare Sterling Silver Capstan Inkwell, I have never seen a capstan inkwell so large.
It was given as a memorial for the Churchwarden of St Andrew's Church from Kingswood, Surrey, between 1904 - 1912, I can't make out their name.

Maker: William Aitken.

Hallmarks: Birmingham, letter "l" - 1910.

It is in very good condition for its age with visible signs of wear from usage, it will need a good cleaning.

It measures approx. 7.3cm H x 17.5cm in diameter at base and 6.4cm at top.

Total Weight: 697 grams.
