The case, with a rectangular outline and scalloped edges, is fully decorated with high-relief scrolling foliage and floral engraving on both sides. The workmanship is detailed and consistent throughout, with no plain reserve areas beyond the central cartouche.

Good antique condition.
Clear hallmarks. Hinge in sound working order. General surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and handling. Softening to some high points of the engraved decoration. Interior gilding worn. No visible splits or major structural repairs observed.
