A sterling silver vesta case by Constantine & Floyd Ltd, hallmarked for Birmingham with date letter “q” for 1915.
Of rectangular cushion form with hinged lid and suspension ring, the exterior engraved with scrolling foliate decoration and a central vacant cartouche.

The case is engraved to both sides with scrolling foliate decoration within bordered panels. The central shield-shaped cartouche is blank.
The lid opens on a side hinge and closes securely. The base retains the original serrated striker.
Interior shows original gilding with visible wear and patination consistent with age.
Condition
Good antique condition overall.
-General surface wear, small marks and light knocks consistent with age and use.
-Interior gilding worn with areas of discoloration.
-Striker well defined.
-Hinge sound and lid closes firmly.
