Sterling Silver Vesta Case Match Safe Holder by Joseph Hayes Taylor 1888

An antique Victorian solid silver vesta case of rectangular form opens via a novelty swivel action, with a strike plate and a suspension loop.
The case is in good condition for its age.
This vesta case is a must-have for any collector.

Maker: "J.H.T" which is Joseph Hayes Taylor

Hallmarks: Birmingham mark, letter "f"-1888

Measuring about 4cm long over the suspension loop x 2cm wide.

Total Weight: 17.3 grams.
