Victorian 10ct Gold Propelling Mechanical Pencil Sampson Mordan

A propelling pencil made of 10ct gold, possibly by Sampson Mordan, as there is the arrow mark, which was only used by Sampson Mordan in the United States. It is functional and in good condition.The end features an engraved amethyst seal, with the Old English style letter "G", I think.It comes in a period box.
It measures about 9cm long.

It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and usage (with minor visible scratches).It will need a good cleaning.
