A Victorian silver combination pen and ruler attributed to Sampson Mordan & Co, dating to around 1890.

The piece has a slim cylindrical form and incorporates a ruler with an extendable pen mechanism. It was designed as a compact portable writing accessory for pocket or writing case use.

The silver is unmarked and has been acid-tested.

Condition
It is in good antique condition with visible signs of age and use. There is general surface wear, with minor dings and scratches consistent with age.
