Victorian Solid Silver Combination Pencil Pen and Ruler by Sampson Mordan & Co
A Victorian silver combination pen and ruler attributed to Sampson Mordan & Co, dating to around 1890.
The piece has a slim cylindrical form and incorporates a ruler with an extendable pen mechanism. It was designed as a compact portable writing accessory for pocket or writing case use.
The silver is unmarked and has been acid-tested.
ConditionIt is in good antique condition with visible signs of age and use. There is general surface wear, with minor dings and scratches consistent with age. One of the small knobs used to extend the pen is missing. It would benefit from a careful clean. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
