Vintage Rope Trench Lighter Braided Wick C1930-1950

Vintage rope trench lighter with a mustard-coloured braided wick decorated with black threads. The plated metal mechanism has knurled detailing, a toothed striker wheel and an adjustable flint housing. The wheel creates a spark which produces an ember at the charred end of the wick.

There is surface wear, oxidation, discolouration and plating loss to the metal. The end of the wick is charred from previous use. The lighter has not been tested and its working order is not guaranteed.
