Vintage WW2 RAF Type E2 Anti Glare Spectacles With Original Pouch
This is a stunning pair of WW2 RAF Type E2 spectacles featuring chromium-plated metal frames and handles, with green-tinted lenses designed to reduce glare at high altitude. They include leather side shields for additional protection from the sun's glare.
It comes with its original pouch, which also shows signs of wear, including surface marks, stains, and very light tears.
They are in excellent condition for their age, with the usual glass wear, such as surface marks; the frames have some light bends, and the side shields show leather wear.
It measures approximately 13.1cm long, with the lenses measuring 5cm in diameter, and the bridge in the middle measuring 1.5cm H x 1.8cm W.
