Sampson Mordan Solid Silver Telescopic Triple Slide Pencil Fountain Dip Pen Fob
Antique Sampson Mordan triple slide pencil and dip pen fob in sterling silver. This piece has a plain tubular body with a spiral-fluted terminal and suspension loop. It is marked “S. Mordan & Co.” and also has an engraved presentation inscription.
The piece extends to reveal a pencil mechanism and a dip pen fitting. It would suit a collection of antique writing instruments, fobs, or Sampson Mordan items.
ConditionGood condition for its age, with visible signs of age and use, including minor dings, scratches, and general surface wear. It will need a careful clean. The pencil needs lead and the dip pen requires a new nib. It has not been fully tested for working order. Sold as seen.
