Antique Fireplace Majolica Tile Gibbons Hinton & Co C1875
Up for sale is this antique tile manufactured in Europe probably German or Belgium.
Most likely made around 1880-1920.
The tile is 6 x 6 inches square, 1.2cm thickness.
There is on intaglio back, so when you fit one on top of the other the reised wreath should fit in the intaglio.
The tile is in very good condition, with only a few small surface chips mainly on the highest points of the wreath.
